Meal ServiceDonation DrivesGroup Projects
Every meal served at Austin Street is prepared off-site and delivered to the shelter by volunteer groups from churches, local businesses, and other community groups who then serve the meal to each of our guests. Lunch is served to 120 guests, and breakfast and dinner are served for 400. Meal service must be scheduled in advance. For more information, click here.
Groups looking for readily available opportunities are welcome to host off-site donation drives on behalf of Austin Street. Please contact us to determine what our greatest needs are at the time of your drive for greatest impact.
Austin Street can accommodate a few larger groups each year for special projects, which have included painting, landscaping, organizing a group activity, and more. Representatives of groups looking for a special opportunity should contact us for a tour and discussion of scope and availability.
