Amenities
All registered entries by 9/1/08 will be guaranteed a race
t-shirt and other goodies. After 9/1/08, while supplies
last.
Awards
The top three male and female finishers in the 5K and 15K,
following age groups will be awarded: 14-19, 20-29, 30-39,
40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Special awards including gift certificates, will be presented
to overall male and female and overall master male and female
immediately following the 5K and the 15K.
Chip Timing
Champion Chip timing will be used at this event. Chips may
be picked up on race day near registration with your race
number. You must wear a chip to be timed and eligible for
awards. Chips must be surrendered before leaving the finish
area.
Race Day
Race day will begin with packet and timing chip pick up
at 6:30. The 5K and 15K will begin at 7:30, the mile fun
run/walk will begin at 7:45.
Race
course
The race course for 1 mile is a fun out and back. The 5K
is out and back and the 15K will loop the lake. The course
has tree covered paths and involves several small hills
and quick flats. For your convenience water stops will be
every mile
Water Station
There will be water stations every mile of the course and
one water station on the 1 mile. The water stations will
contain cool water and sports drink. Our water stations
are manned with volunteers, please treat them with respect
as they work to make your event safe.
